Ingredients:

 

500g spelled flour

1 tablespoon of sugar

1 tbsp. Salt

20g yeast

100 – 150ml lukewarm water

20g dried cranberries or raisins

 

Preparation:

 

Put the flour with salt and sugar in a bowl.

Add the yeast in small pieces into a well.

Pour the oil around the edges.

Fill the well with water and slowly work everything into a dough with a wooden spoon.

Let stand until the dough has visibly increased in size.

Divide the dough into small balls and shape each ball into a large S. Place a cranberry in the middle of the S curve.

Spread with margarine and sprinkle with sugar.

 

 

Baking time:

 

175 ºC / 347ºF about 20 minutes or until braid is light brown.
